Henry Childs II is an American attorney, corporate executive, and advocate for minority business development. He is best known as the founder of Childs Ventures LLC and the Minority Wealth Commission, a national initiative focused on building generational wealth in underserved communities.
His career spans law, public service, and strategic investment. As a Presidential appointee, Henry served as White House Advisor in the Office of Public Liaison and as National Director of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency, where he facilitated $4.8 billion in capital and contracts for over 5,300 minority-owned enterprises.
Through Childs Ventures LLC, Henry advises emerging fund managers, SPV sponsors, and capital platforms on fund formation, securities compliance, civil rights litigation, employment law, and class action matters. He has advised first-time funds that have raised in excess of $500 million in aggregate committed capital since 2020.
